I have written a book to prove that Christianity, Judaism, and Bible
Scholars are wrong about the most controversial quotes in the Torah,
Isaiah 53, Psalm 22, Zechariah 12:10, and many more quotes. The book can
be read for free on my site called http://www.messianicmistakes.com/.

My book involves dividing the Hebrew letters into words differently and
translating quotes differently. You can't find these ideas in any book
written by scholars because they have never tried these idea. If you are
interested in unusual translations of the quotes that scholars have not
understand for two thousand years or more, please look at my site.

Ken,

I only glanced at your Table of Contents, but I was disappointed that you
didn't cover Hebrew Word #3068. Of course you may not believe that
Hebrew Word #3068 is one of the most controversial issues that is found
in the Torah

>From my point of view, as a layman with at best only a kindergarten /
first grade understanding of Hebrew, how God's name is pointed, is the
most controversial issue a Bible believing Christian could possibly
discover to exist in a Hebrew Bible that was being used to translate the
Old Testament of any English Bible from.

>From a layman's point of view. I find it disturbing that the Masoretes
are said to have placed the vowel points of "Adonai" into Hebrew Word
#3068 to create a hybrid name, when in fact that is not what they did.
[i.e. The Masoretes certainly did not place the actual vowels that are
found in "Adonai" into YHWH.]

Whatever rules the Masoretes were using when they pointed YHWH, when
YHWH stood alone in the Hebrew text, the rules were not the commonly
accepted rules of Qere Perpetuum,

To be redundant, the Masoretes never did place the actual vowel points
of "Adonai" into YHWH.

The Masoretes certainly didn't use a perfect example of Qere Perpetuum,
when they chose which, if any of the vowel points of "Adonai" they would
point YHWH with.

Again I am only a layman, but I have read what in my opinion, I believe
to be the most convoluted explanations of Hebrew Word #3068 that anyone
could possibly write. These explanation may or may not be accurate, but
these explanations have nothing to do with what is commonly referred to
be Qere Perpetuum.

P.S.

Ken,

Feel free to ignore my post, if this an issue that you do not have any
interest in?

The key word there is Y(R.

JPS1985 translates Y(R there as =E2=80=9Cbrushland=E2=80=9D.

Gesenius says of Y(R, in part: =E2=80=9Cthicket of briers, =E2=80=A6rugge=

One of the meanings that BDB gives for Y)R at p. 420 is =E2=80=9Cthicket=

Yes, I well realize that Y(R often means =E2=80=9Cforest=E2=80=9D. But it=
can also mean =E2=80=9C
brushland=E2=80=9D, =E2=80=9Cthicket of briers=E2=80=9D, =E2=80=9Ca copse=
of bushes=E2=80=9D, or =E2=80=9Cthicket=E2=80=9D. What=20
is needed, then, is scientific or historical evidence. The =E2=80=9COxfor=

Atlas=E2=80=9D sees no true forest south of the Dead Sea, even though over=
half of=20
greater Canaan was forest in Biblical times. That is better evidence than=
the=20
ambiguous word Y(R in Ezekiel.
