At the following link: http://truthintheword.com/names.htm
under the heading:
H. Gesenius' translate #3068 as follows:

Gesenius clearly explains in his third sentence
that Hebrew Word #3068 and "Adonai" DO NOT HAVE THE SAME VOWEL POINTS.

To be redundant,
The Hebrew Scholar Gesenius analyzes Hebrew Word # 3068,
and clearly notes
that the first vowel point of Hebrew Word 3068 and the first vowel point
of Adonai are different.

Since Hebrew Word #3068 is definitely not a perfect example of Qere
Perpetuum,
what is the actual reason that the Jewish reader reads "Adonai"
when he or she sees Hebrew Word #3068 in the Hebrew Bible?

We don=E2=80=99t even know that Shoshenq =3D Shishaq, or was it Shoshenq =
=3D King So =D7=A1=D7=95=D7=90
mentioned in 2 Kings 17:4? Was Shishaq the same as Raamses II or Thutmosis
II? With the problem that the Egyptian kings had numerous names, not
counting nicknames and often poor transliterations into other languages, we
don=E2=80=99t know the answers to these questions.
