>From yesterday’s Torah reading, in Deut. 26:17–18:

את ה׳ האמרת היום להיות לך לאלהים וללכת בדרכיו ולשמר חקיו ומצותיו ומשפטיו
ולשמע בקלו׃ וה׳ האמירך היום להיות לו לעם סגלה כאשר דבר לך ולשמר כל מצותיו׃

Regarding האמרת & האמירך, Rashi notes that there are no other uses of
these words in Tanach, but he takes them to mean “designated” or
“distinguished”.

Rabbi S.R. Hirsch suggests instead that these are forms of the root אמר,
that “את ה׳ האמרת” means “You have caused it to be said about God that…”.

The Christian translations at <http://bible.cc/deuteronomy/26-17.htm>
mostly translate האמרת as “avouched” or “declared”.
