Hi, All:
There may be several reasons for differences in the count for verbal roots
in Biblical Hebrew. One is that weak verbs (represented by only two letters
in
the text) might be understood differently, as either medial yod/waw or as
final he, for example. Some medival grammarians asserted that BH has
biliteral
rather than triliteral roots!
