The conventional Heb. spelling is with an Alef at the end:
Ben Sira.
Conventional spelling of names does not neccessarily reflect
historical usage. For instance, the the famous Bar Kokhba's name was
actually Bar Koziba.

By the way, the guy's name was Sirach or Ben Sirach, so why do people
drop the final "ch"?
