Dear Steven,

Thanks for the hon. ment. The KJV uses unicorn for R:'eM; but to my
surprise the Vulgate uses /rinoceros/ in Numbers 23:22, 24:8; Deuteronomy
33:17; and Job 39:9-10. But Jerome switched to /unicorn, unicornis/ for
Psalm 22:22, 29:6, 92:11; and Isaiah 34:7.

But I defer to the academics on this List.
