Hi Alan!

Of course beginners are welcome to ask their questions on B-Hebrew. We have
here gathered a community of experienced academics, students at all levels,
and interested others. Fire away!

Hello,

I would like to thank everyone who responded to my email. As I begin to
learn the language (self-taught for now), I wanted to know if I can ask
my questions on this email list. I know that most of the things that are
being discussed here are way beyond me right now. However, is this list
a place for beginners to ask their questions or only for the more
advanced student of the language? The reason I am asking is that as I
look over the alphabet, I already have a number of questions. Just
wanted to make sure that I understood the purpose for this list before
asking my questions. Thank you in advance for your response.

Hello,

I have just signed up to the B-Hebrew email list. I have completed two
years of Greek grammar and would like to begin to study Hebrew. I am
planning on using Thomas O. Lambdin's _Introduction to Biblical Hebrew._
I wanted to know what the group thought of this book as a beginning
text. Also, I was wondering if there are any website or programs that I
might be able to download to assist me in my task.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
