Hi Folks,

It is very hard to take any NWT claim of "consistent translation" seriously
knowing that their major textual redaction ('Jehovah' in the New Testament)
is not only done without any textual support, but is done in a completely
inconsistent manner. The word Jehovah is put in for kurios when it is
doctrinally helpful, and simply omitted when it is not considered doctrinally
beneficial.
To gerry-rig like that in the midst of an essentially unsupportable textual
redaction
is as inconsistent as any translation can be.
Pardon me for responding with a question that is not exactly b-hebrew,
but is very consequent to the claim above.
Shalom,
