Dr. Jodi Magness asked me to post the following search ad for a Lecturer
in Modern Hebrew for The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill,
Department of Asian Studies.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Department of Asian
Studies, seeks a Lecturer in Modern Hebrew, who will play a part in the
developing Carolina Center for Jewish Studies. Three-year full-time
appointment, with benefits, starting July 2006, with possibility of renewal.
Minimum requirements: Masters in Hebrew or a related discipline;
near-native ability in both Hebrew and English; appropriate teaching
