However, the students will need special fonts, rather than the Microsoft standard ones, if they want good results with pointed Hebrew. Pointed Hebrew is legible in Times New Roman, Arial etc, but the point holam is wrongly positioned. So it makes a lot of sense to use SBL Hebrew as recommended by Yitzhak, which comes with its own keyboarding solutions.
In fact a special keyboard is not necessary for including just a few words of Hebrew. These can be inserted from the Word Insert Symbol dialog, with no special software required.
