If you do read Hebrew, try Daniel Sivan's Diqduq Leshon Ugarit
(Encyclopaedia Biblica Library, Jerusalem 1993). I found it to be quite
good - but he uses transliteration, not Cuneifiorm.

Scholar. I want to Get to Akkadian and Sumerian but feel that this is a
good Gateway language to those. So please pray for me and
