Hi Rasmus
To the best of my knowledge, the closest to what you seek would be C.H.J. van
der Merwe, J.A. Naudé and J.H. Kroeze, "A Biblical Hebrew Reference Grammar",
Sheffield.
It is a much shorter work than Joüon/Muraoka, which would still be my choice
if I could only take one Hebrew grammar to a desert island. I guess most
people would recommend B.K. Waltke/M. O'Connor "Biblical Hebrew Syntax" as
the obvious supplement to Joüon/Muraoka.
If you're looking for something that covers as much ground as Joüon/Muraoka,
there really isn't anything. You're bound to go on to look for the answers in
more specialised publications rather than reference grammars. If your
interest is in syntactical and text linguistic issues, I'd like to put in a
word for W. Schneider "Grammatik des biblischen Hebräisch: ein Lehrbuch",
though (recently reissued in much nicer form than the hideous typewritten
70'es edition).
