The closest would be Shimu (shin mem ayin vav) - Listen or they listened.  Or without the ayin, it would be shin mem vav - His name.  His name is El
 
There are infinite levels of meanings to the Torah
 
You need the Oral Torah, to learn.

 Dear b-hebraists,

Does anyone has any suggestion if a name Shmu'el means "Heard by God"? If so, where there had disapeared "ayin" and how to describe grammatical form of the "Shmu"?
