I’ve heard it suggested in a couple places that the word Qa+aNiY in 1 Kings 12:10, normally translated as “little finger”, might be a euphemism for genitalia (perhaps like ReGeL in Is. 6:2). But I don’t seem to have any reference works which touch on that; it’s not listed as an option in BDB, but that’s hardly conclusive. Does anyone here have any opinions or thoughts (or better yet, solid information) on the topic?
