If this is going to be a question-by-question catechism, then we had better
go off list. But, for the sake of the list, in case others are
interested in your position, and I imagine they are: I have the minimal
knowledge that the goal of generative grammar is to come up with the
rules by which all sentences of a language can be generated.

I am quite serious, as I said in my earlier post, that I want to understand
your theses about the Hebrew verbal system. However, I have found
you either to be too busy or "off on another planet" and unable to translate
your work into lay jargon. (No offense intended.) And, I am
too busy to start taking courses in generative grammar, although I am willing
to read some intro bibliography. So, if you are willing to
explain, rather than leaving it to someone else, I'm interested.
