Codex Alexandrinus of LXX has _siteutos_ as the adjective, meaning
"fattened" which always modifies an animal, i think (vv. 25 & 28, omits in
26). However, Codex Vaticanus has _deuteros_ (second) like the extant MT in
all 3 verses. I can't imagine what the Vorlage might have been for what is
preserved in Alexandrinus (or for a recension?), or what similar root Block
has in mind here.

I am not familiar with the article, but a good guess would be Vetus
Testamentum, of which J. A. Emerton is editor. He also had several such
articles in the Journal of Theological Studies.
