In Isaiah 9:7 the letter mem has occurred in the middle of word, but the
form is final. Anybody have explications?

A scribal goof? I just finished reading P. Kyle McCarter's book "Textual
Criticism: Recovering the Text of the Hebrew Bible," and he notes many such
occurrances, as far as scribal goofs go.
