Dear Linda

Greg has given you very good advice and I am sure that most of the scholars
on this list probably feel the same. But never forget you can start on your
own if you cannot get to a school. There are many very good self study books
available and some are not very expensive.

We do not have a school near us where we can study Greek or Hebrew and I
cannot travel to one, so from the start I have studied on my own. I will
never be a scholar in either language, but can enjoy them. And there are
many very fine scholars on this list and the b-hebrew list that are very
kind and considerate and give of their precious time to help all of us.

Some have even taken time to help me out off list. This is deeply
appreciated and is my substitute for the academic atmosphere so important in
developing a understanding in any study one undertakes.

Wishing you the best in your studies and know you are in good hands with the
people on this list.

May God bless you and your studies.

Glenn Cook
