Does this, then, make the Danites Greek, on the basis that the Dnnm seem to
be related to
the Danaans of Homeric epic? It would make for an interesting interpretation
of the
interaction between Philistines and Danites in the Samson narratives. Is
Samson the
Semitic Herakles or Achilles?
