- Subject: BH, distribution of passives by books?
- Date: Tue, 27 Jul 1999 12:03:14 -0400 (EDT)
is anyone aware of a survey of distribution of passives (qal-passive,
pual, hofal, etc) by biblical books (or recognized sections thereof)?
noticed for example an elevated number of puals/hofals in I Isaiah,
e.g., vs, say, Ezekiel. in terms of microdialectology, might be
useful distinction. separates genesis from jonah, but don't think
that's a surprise.
