Numbers 23:19 says "God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of
man, that He should repent..."
My questions is about the verb "repent". The more common verb for
"repent" is SHIN-VAV-BETH, as in "Teshuvah" and other forms. But here the
author has chosen to use "nacham" NUN-CHET-MEM, a less common, although
still quite common, verb for repent. What is the difference between the
two?
