Bill had written of the idea that "the exclusive worship of YHWH alone was
a minority position" in the context of Kuntillat Ajrud (an archaeological
site from the eighth century BCE which talks of Yahweh and his consort, ie
a form of polytheism). I was merely asking him to give evidence of that
minority position (ie Yahwistic monotheism) using primary source materials,
ie materials that can be dated to the period referred to.

I hope that makes sense. If not I can always try again perhaps with more
success.
