Dear hebraists

Should shebuth in Ps 14.7 be translated "captivity" or "fortunes"? The ELB
has Gefangenschaft, TOB has les captifs and the LXX has aichmalosia, all
meaning "captivity." So on what basis is the word "fortunes" used in NIV,
NRSV, Craigie, & Weiser?
