I am under the impression that Wellhuasen's divisions of JEDP are now
seen as an over simplification of the issues involved. However, that
there is different authorship and schools of authors in the HB is of
course widely accepted. The debate has now moved into the area of fine
tuning Wellhausen's 'documnentary hypothesis'.
