are you claiming this as your own testimony that 'present' is usually a
prefix verb?

i've seen present tenses expressed by participles in the bible everywhere,
in all time periods.

it's much more common than grammarians raised on arabic gave credit.
try out one of the examples or another verb. see how participles are used
and/vs. prefix verbs.
