What is Low-tech Magazine? - LOW-TECH MAGAZINE

What is Low-tech Magazine?

Low-tech Magazine questions the blind belief in technological progress, and
talks about the potential of past and often forgotten knowledge and
technologies when it comes to designing a sustainable society. Interesting
possibilities arise when you combine old technology with new knowledge and
new materials, or when you apply old concepts and traditional knowledge to
modern technology.

Low-tech Magazine was founded in November 2007: overview of all articles
<https://www.lowtechmagazine.com/site-map.html>. Since 2018, it is also
available on a solar powered server <https://solar.lowtechmagazine.com>.

Low-tech Magazine publishes at most 12 well-researched stories per
year. Sister blog No Tech Magazine <http://www.notechmagazine.com/> brings
more regular updates.

Low-tech Magazine is written by Kris De Decker
<http://www.krisdedecker.org/> (Barcelona, Spain). A list of contributors
is in the making.
