Dear friends, colleagues,

I am sending you an interesting proposal for a Summer School in
Permaculture Design. The topic permaculture, which will be lectured in
the Summer School is a relative new concept and system of design for
sustainable agriculture, ecological architecture and new local economy.
We have invited the best teacher in the world in permaculture design.
A training in this topic would be very useful for farmers from the
biological, bio-dynamical and ecological
agriculture. Learning permaculture practices from farmers could be a
good investment in a low-input, polycultural small-scale
agriculture with stable yields in the time of climate change.
Also important topic for researchers with interests in ecological
agriculture, eco-building, local economies etc.

Target group includes also students, Masters, PhD candidates and
lecturers, representatives of NGOs and community organizations with
ecological mind.

Therefore, we are proud to inform you that this year (in August
2015) University of National and World Economy, Sofia and Permaculture
College of Europe offer the opportunity for participation in Summer
School in the following fields of the courses: Permaculture Design
Course; Permaculture Teacher Training Course.

Award-winning international permaculture pioneer, designer, educator,
presenter and innovator, Robyn Francis is the principal tutor of the

The courses will be conducted in a mountain rural complex with covered
healthy local food (options for choosing between vegetarian/vegan and,
or meat).
In the total fee for the courses for the whole period of the trainings
all food and accommodation is included. The venue of the courses will be
in the rural guest houses Deshka in the village Gorno
Draglishte, Bulgaria. It is situated 13 km northern from the town Razlog
and 15 km from the tourist mountain resort Bansko. It is also not far
from the village Bania, famous with its mineral waters. GornoDraglishte
is in the foot of Rila mountain and is surrounded from two more
mountains – Pirin and Rodopi.

The application form and all the needed information regarding the
organization of the courses can be found directly on the following link:
In the attached files you will find detailed information about Robyn
Francis and the courses PDC and TTC.
On the web-page, there is a programme of the courses.
Herewith 2 links with an interview with Robyn Francis, especially

permaculture and about the courses.
