[permaculture] Anyone know food and/or medicinal use of Borage leaves?

Its beautiful sky blue flowers are loved by bees and supposed to be
uplifting - freezing them in ice cubes to add to summer drinks looks
cheerful anyway.. (the flowers , not the bees!)
You can add the leaves to salads - they have a slightly cucumber taste.
The seeds are a source of essential fatty acids.
and not forgetting the old rhyme  "I , Borage , bring always courage"
which suggests the herbal properties.
