[permaculture] Keyline in Britain

Hi Darren

Just to let you know, we are still interested in you coming over here (and
potentially to other parts of Europe). I'd like to ask a few more
questions at this point. The main one is, what experiences have you had
with keyline applications in temperate humid climates? Seeing as you'll be
going to Ireland, you must see some value in it in these conditions. Have
you done any work in Tasmania, the Pacific Northern US or other regions
similar to much of Britain? Drought proofing is becoming an issue in some
parts of this island, but even more so is flood proofing. The traditional
approach in this country is to drain the water away as quickly as
possible, with predicable effects of flash flooding downstream. We would
like to invite people from the Environment Agency and Water Authorities,
who deal with these issues professionally (and mostly not very well), Any
information you can give us will help us to draw in these people.

Best wishes
Tomas Remiarz
