There are some permi-folk in Bellingham where I live, but I've been too busy
preping my boat for a sailing trip to Hawaii to hook up with them. If you
connect with them would you share contact info? When we return in the fall a
permaculture analysis of some property we have on one of the Gulf Islands is
high on my list. You should plan to spend a few days in Bellingham in any
event and are welcome to stay at our house if you do. We'll be on the
bounding main but our house-sitter, a really neat guy named Mike Kleps will
be around to provide access. Feel free to give me a call (Jon Raney
360-393-2965 until June 18th and "c/o the Pacific Ocean" thereafter) to make
arrangements if you want to stay at our place while you're here. Best,
Jon ps-so far summer has not really arrived in the GDNW, daytime highs have
not been above the high sixties with quite a bit of rain, so be prepared in
the event we have one of the "nuclear summers" which ocur with some
regularity in these parts. jmr
