There's a familiar pattern in this whole directory dispute...leave a bare
patch of soil unmulched and untended for too long, whether intentionally or
not, and something *will* grow there, fill the niche...it may be invasive
and start to take over, or it may be cooperative and symbiotic with what's
already there. But does one blame the plant for growing there? Or does one
observe the process and learn from it?
