If you're on the sorcery team you need to read this.

These changes are going in place tomorrow, so you may need to take some
action now, or at least be aware of them.

All of this only effects sorcery in perforce, grimoire et al dont need to
worry or care.

As I mentioned about a week ago, Im working with Tony to re-arrange how
we keep sorcery in perforce. To recap:
right now we have

//sgl/devel/sorcery/...
//sgl/test/sorcery/...
//sgl/stable/sorcery/...

Most of the people who care just submit stuff into the devel/sorcery area.
The new layout is sorcery/<foo>

//sgl/sorcery/devel/...
//sgl/sorcery/test/...
//sgl/sorcery/stable/...
//sgl/sorcery/proj/...
//sgl/sorcery/release/r1.9/...
//sgl/sorcery/release/r1.10/...

For most of you that means that you'll need to change your client view,
resync and go. For the time being we can continue just pushing changes
straight into devel, but theres a project bin for branching off a seperate
major project. So I would add something like this:
//sgl/sorcery/proj/feature-xyz/...

I'll have a wiki page explaining how all this will work.

Tony tells me that if you have any files open right now perforce is going
to forget about them, so you'll need to reopen them in the new layout.

If this is the case for you, then what I would do is copy those special
files somewhere safe for now, then p4 revert all your changes until
after tony say's he is done.

Since Tony is re-arranging tomorrow, you may not want to wait on saving
your opened files.

If you have any more questions, first read my post about this a week or
so ago.

Thanks
Andrew
