Prove it!

I refer you to Toby's explanation of aquaponics, what it is and how it
works and that it is as natural as soil-grown crops.
His post was in response to your previous argument that aquaponics is not
natural and therefore has no place in permaculture.

Aquaponics involves a semi closed poop integrating aquaculture, aquatic
species and aquatic plants, activated compost tea or similar
microbiologicals, biochar with plant production. Water-borne nutrients flow
from the aquaculture system to the hydroponic plant production system. No
synthetic fertilizers or mineral amendments are used in that system. The
nutrients in the aquaculture system are the same as those that exist in
soil-based cropping systems, i.e. gardens and farms.

What Steve complains about is hydroponics using synthetic fertilizers,
various means for adjusting pH, i.e. a computer generated chemical soup. I
doubt long term ingestion of such crops would provide robust health whereas
aquaponics would.
