Checked out the link - a rather strange idea (and lot of hard work) to try
and generate the electricity by pedal power in order to drive a mechanical
devise, when all one needs to do is set up the bike to mechanically drive
the belt that operates the machine...
I've come across pedal-powered converted old-style tub wash machines & spin
driers. Some student here are trying to rig up a front loader to an exercise
bike, just need to find a belt long enough to connect between the and see if
it works.
Lots of pedal powered devices around these parts. Rainbow Power Company has
plans available
Ciao
