Our local Council has recently set up a huge wormfarming operation for all
its municipal organic waste - householders and restaurants have a separate
bin for organics & as far as I know includes cooked as well as uncooked food
scraps. They ran a TV promotion for people to wrap their kitchen waste in
newspaper and not use plastic bags for these bins.
