Dan Schnitzer is the Sustainability Coordinator for Chapel Hill-Carrboro Schools and has been instrumental in developing the pollinator garden and more at Carrboro High School. He would most certainly be an ally: dschnitzer AT chccs.k12.nc.us

Wow that is seriously sad!

They use to have bees back in late 80's & early 90's.

Id say reach out to a senior enviro club or science club. They should help bring this forward.

Never heard saying no to plants. Did they give a reason?

The Chapel Hill High School has stated that they do not want to have bees on their property or to have a pollinator garden on their property. So any advice on how to explain to staff and the Lincoln Center that this really doesn't present a safety issue?

Thanks,
