Hi everyone,

Happy new year! I trust everyone's 2012 has start off well...

Just one last reminder about the upcoming beekeeping webinar on January 19th (see details below). Many of you have already expressed your interest in attending the webinar, so please use this information from the Elluminate system to log on and join. So far, we now have a record 11 different county chapters who will be participating (Mecklenburg, Davidson, Chatham, Johnston, Surry, Scotland, Anson, Catawba, Burke, Montgomery, Franklin—plus possibly another chapter from VA), but let me know if you or your chapter would like to take part!

The topic for the session is quite timely: Coming out of winter. That time of year (late winter/early spring), it is critical for the beekeeper to do everything s/he can to ensure colony survival, and we will discuss the various methods of doing so.

I look forward to this first of many similar beekeeping webinars, but in the meantime let me know if you have any questions! Sincerely, David
