Hello Beekeepers,
I wanted to thank everyone who helped launch our bee school on Thursday.  I have never attempted anything like this before and I certainly could not have done this without your help.  Thank you!

If anyone has any suggestions on how to make it run a bit smoother, please let me know.  I had hoped to have tables for our students to take notes on but with the size of the class, we may have to forego the tables and just use chairs.  This past Thursday, we were able to use the entire room.  I don't believe that will always be the case.  I don't think we can get everyone in there if we have the tables.

I promise to have a better PA set up at the next class.

Some OCBA members have asked if they can sit in on the classes.  I've been thinking about this and trying to figure out a fair way to do this.  Some of our regular OCBA members have paid to take the class and it isn't fair to them for me to just hand out free passes to other members.  I am not going to turn any member away.  If you would like to sit in on the classes, please come and join us.  All I ask is that you pitch in some how.  I would especially like for you to pitch in by getting to know some of our new students and helping them as best you can.  You don't need to be an expert to help them out.  Simply share a helpful hint about your experiences.  Share with them what worked for you and what hasn't worked for you.  Offer to help get them up and going.  Most of all, just get to know them!  You can also help us by coming early to set up and staying late to clean up.  We have to be out of the room at 9 so it's important to have folks on hand to move everything out.

I will attach a class schedule at the bottom of this email so you will know what's going on.  I will also send you guys the emails that I send to the students.

Thanks again for your help!

Lewis
