Can anyone help him? If I don't hear anything by tomorrow, I will start calling people on the swarm list.
Thanks,
Becky

Becky,

It's been about four days and I have not heard from anyone.  Any thoughts?  The bay window roof section is small - only about 3x3 ft and should come off quickly.  I could do it but I would need a bee suit and the thought of hundreds of bees attacking me without having any experience with this is unnerving.  I could also pay something if that provides incentive.

Becky,
I have a small house in North Chatham seven miles south of Chapel Hill on 7.44 acres of woods.  We have an established honeybee colony that is living in the roof section of a bay window that is off the kitchen.  The entry point is about 11 feet up.  The center section of the wooden bay window roof would need to be removed to gain access to the hive I believe.  I was told that your organization has beekeepers who would like to do this for the hive and bees.  I can handle followup repairs.
We are trying to sell this house soon and need to have them removed as I do not want to kill them.  If you do know of someone interested in this type of removal, please let me know.  Regards,
 David

Hi David,
I have forwarded your message to the Orange county list serve and also to the Chatham county's beekeepers club president. There are some members in our club who have experience doing this. Please let me know if you don't hear anything soon. You can also call me on my cell 919-491-0016.
Thanks,
Becky
