I am interested in either joining a Southern TN area MSAR group, or starting
one. I have been reviewing the classes and they are so far away. Is there
anything closer? I have found a group called ERI that will do classes for
unmounted at your place of choosing. Is there a problem with taking SAR
classes instead of MSAR classes if you are an experienced horsewoman with a
steadfast horse?

Hi, Teri. I Don't think there is. By our team's reckoning, our horses are a
tool, we're all ground searchers first. So your ground training is a very
important part of MSAR, much of what you apply to ground searching is also
applied from the saddle.
