Una,
We're approaching the written portions as multiple choice. Thoughts are to decide on some good overall categories, then work up a large pool of questions, and then pick and choose a subset appropriate for an intro-level MSAR person, and from the same pool choose a larger somewhat more advanced subset for the middle-level MSAR person. And more questions (and more advanced ones) for the advanced level MSAR person.

A written test is something few if any MSAR teams use. (I
would like to know about any MSAR written tests that are in
use. Speak up, folks!) So, this question requires some
"outside the box" thinking. Hm...

Look at Pony Club manuals. And entry-level books on horse
husbandry and riding; most have very similar formulas.

NASAR committee folks: What is the intended test format?
Eg, multiple choice, match terms, fill in the blank, essay?
