Rodents in the greenhouse are the worst. Trying locking a cat in there for the night, even if the cat doesn't 't catch many the cat's scent should scare them.

I've never tried the ultrasonics; but I gave up entirely on hot peppers as a rodent deterrent the year the mice ate all the cayenne peppers I'd set aside in the attic to get seed out of later.

(It was definitely mice; they left evidence.)
