Ours is carefully hand carried and placed under the front seat in the van. Works for us--same original used scale, bought used seven years ago.  Must be fairly sturdy things.

We use our scale around the farm also, so I put it on the front floor well,
or in a Buckhorn with a bunch of other market stuff.  Not all that
protective or careful.

Hi All.

Last year I took my scale to market in its original box, which was
cumbersome and is now starting to fall apart, as cardboard will.

I'm trying to find some kind of "road case" for it; something to protect it
and make it easy to transport.  I'm thinking of something made of hard
plastic with foam inserts.  Not having any luck so far.

Any suggestions?  What do you use?

Thanks!

Hi Deb,

The best protection out there are Pelican cases.
