I tried the stuff in my raspberries and it did OK...just OK for the first
year...after that even buried...it began to disintegrate and I had bits of
cloth to deal with...now I use cardboard with straw mulch over the top and
it works terrific. The cardboard does a great job on holding down the
weeds in the aisles, the straw holds down the cardboard. And it
completely biodegrades leaving a lovely compost like material with the
fallen raspberry leaves....
