We have a hiller attachment for several of our wheel hoes. It hasn't moved enough soil to be useful for hilling potatoes, but it does make a deep furrow for planting. Our main use for the hiller/furrower is to throw a band of soil on the edge of row covers. The row covers are less likely to fly off in the wind when anchored this way.

Has anyone used the hiller attachment for the glaser wheel hoe?

We are considering buying one of these to hill our potatoes and we just wondered if it works to hill potatoes before we go out and buy the attachment. Does it hill enough dirt to make it useful? Is it worth the $65?

Thanks for everyone's help!
