Yes, your info in correct. Cilantro is wonderful in a
salsa. It can become too bitter if over cooked.
Coriander seed is wonderful, quickly toasted on top of
the stove just until it pops and added to many
recipes. So many parts of the world use this herb. You
can also grind it in your food processor or
coffeemaker grinder, mortar and pestle, to add
wonderful flavors to dishes. It is used extensively in
Mexican, Spanish, Italian, Asian, and Greek recipes. A
