For me, strawberries, tomatoes, kohlrabis, and green beans and peas - like you mention - both shelling and snow peas sell well.

Onions sell pretty well too - and are beautiful to boot!

Hi all,

I'm planning for this summer's market and I just wondered what are your best crops or crafts/products?

I do especially well with green beans and purple hull peas and can sell all I grow. Needless to say I'm growing more this year. I usually sell out of mesclun and lettuces but it's a short season here in the South. I've finally got a loyal group of customers for my Kuta squash (a Park seed exclusive). Garlic does well, but that's a Fall planting, Okra does well, but there's lots of competition.

I buy blueberries from other vendors and peaches (culls for appearance only) from the peach guy and make preserves. These sell well.

I make up ziplock bags of my "Everyday Whole Wheat Bread Mix" and these sell well when I bake a loaf and give out samples.

So, what have you all found to do the best?
