I've got an ODBII scanner also. little hand held jobbie that'll
read/reset. most likely the same model autozone uses... since that where
i bought it :)

yes the gas cap thing happens all the time. my vette used to do it,
my WRX does it. i bet its just there to get the dealer service departments
a little money.
