Don't forget, InterNetWorkers is gathering this coming Thursday, at
the
Tobacco Roadhouse, close to Brightleaf Square. RSVP to me if you're
coming -- early returns would suggest a large crowd this time!

What: InterNetWorkers May gathering
When: Thursday, June 1, 2000 - 7:00 p.m.
Where: Tobacco Roadhouse Restaurant and Brewpub
115 N Duke St
Brightleaf Square
Durham, NC 27701
(919) 688-4505
Why: Because Durham is so cool!

ALSO: Keep an eye out later this week for announcements of a couple new
and exciting developments with InterNetWorkers.

Tobacco Roadhouse is in one of my favorite parts of Durham, near
Anotherthyme, Brightleaf, and the Trinity Park neighborhood. It has a
BIG patio and a variety of indoor spaces if the weather is unkind. It's
a brewpub with a full menu. Tell your friends!

There's a print'n'clip coupon for 10% off at the Tobacco Roadhouse
page
on Citysearch, along with a map, etc.:

DIRECTIONS: Getting there is easy from Raleigh or Chapel Hill. Get
yourself onto the Durham Expressway (Rte 147) and head towards Downtown
Durham. Exit at Duke Street and turn right at the top of the ramp onto
Duke Street. Go straight through a couple of lights, including the one
at the top of the hill at Chapel Hill Street. (From Chapel Hill/15-501,
exit at Chapel Hill Street, turn left and left again onto Duke Street.)

Get in the left lane when you cross the railroad tracks, and turn left
onto Main Street at the 1st light after the tracks. Turn right into the
parking lot which covers the second half of that block -- after
Fishmongers and before the light at Gregson Street. Tobacco Roadhouse
is at the end of the row of buildings there on your right.

See you there!
