Wendy - thank you for making an important point. Terminology and clear
definitions can be crucial. Case in point: I've always heard ashes are good
for...the soil. Along with coffee grounds, banana peels, etc. My daughter and
I
couldn't figure out why, on the purest of aquifers (coming down from Big
Bear)
everything we planted died, on a property where there was a history of
'abundance'. Duh. We were spreading ashes from the barbeque. Briquets. Full
of
chemicals and toxins and foulness.
